The High Sheriff of Kent Awards ceremony couldn't go ahead as usual this year but this did not stop the High Sheriff of Kent, Remony Millwater from visiting and presenting certificates to the seven deserving winners, all socially distanced of course. The annual High Sheriff Awards celebrates the charitable work of organisations who contribute their time and care to the most disadvantaged and vulnerable members of the community.
The High Sheriff of Kent for 2020/21, Remony Millwater, was honoured to be able to recognise organisations in Kent and Medway, including VRU Ashford & Folkestone District, Refocus_project Ltd, Lily's Social Kitchen CIC, Dogs Trust, Rubicon Cares, Challenger Troop and The Gillingham Street Angels.
We will be sharing videos from the winning organisations over the coming weeks.
