We at Gillingham Street angels café in Prospect Place, Blake Avenue, Gillingham, ME7 1FX are currently looking for volunteers to cook, serve and help with general kitchen duties, experience not essential but would be an advantage in working in a fast paced environment as we can get quite busy, we are mainly looking for people to cover a few hours on Saturday and Sunday at present but some weekday shift will possibly be available. All areas are fast paced and do require commitment, it is not an easy job but is very rewarding having the knowledge that your part of a strong team that thrive to make a difference to someone's day, there will be lifting required in some areas a full DBS check will be required, to work in our Hub or warehouse or a you must be over the age of 16, to be a driver you must have a licence and over the age of 25 over 18 for a drivers mate, and over the age of 18 for the café. So why not have a go and give it a try.
